We recently sold our home on 610 Pearl Street. We wanted to say how impressed we were working with Kristina and Jessica. When Kristina came over to our home to discuss the showing, we felt comfortable and at ease right away with her. She showed personal interest, yet was very respectful. She welcomed any concerns and had several great ideas to show our home. Working with Jessica was incredible. She was on top of her game all the time. Selling a house can be an emotional and stressful time. It was such a relief that upon calling Jessica, I realized she was more than just doing her job, she was doing her best. Since I can be anal and tenacious to a fault, it put me at rest knowing Jessica was doing everything she could and kept us updated. I am a contractor and I work overseas. I’ve always wanted to buy and house and I thought now is a good time for me so.

I was looking at houses on the internet and talking to Realtors over the phone while over seas and I ran across The Residential Group. I sent them a description of what I was looking for in house, what neighborhood and what price range.

I instantly started receiving houses to look at. This agency was the only one that maintained constant contact with me while I was overseas still looking. I saw a few homes I really liked and call to inquire and that is when I signed the buyer’s agency agreement with them by email with the help of Mitzie Phillips, Office Manager who then sent me additional pictures and info about the homes with out me having to ask.

At that time I was assigned agents Vicki and Tammy, both ladies were a sheer pleasure to work with. I came in town to look and purchase a house and the day I got stateside I  met Vicki and we walk through the house I wanted and before we left the house  to head back to the office the seller knew he had a offer. We did the contract that afternoon. I was informed that night after business hours that my offer was accepted.

With every new thing or any changes that were made I was made aware. From my contract, counter offer, inspection and appraisal everything was done quick, professional, accurate, and on time and I was kept well informed of the progress. I was home about 5 days and The Residential Group Staff had all the business on their end handled and we were just waiting on my lender. I had to return to work before I closed so I had to close from overseas. I was educated on how to and what things I had to put in place to close form overseas. I had to get a specific POA and I did and I was able to close with out any problems.

I have just purchased my 1st home and so much thanks is due to The Residential Group Staff, the lovely well trained, highly knowledgeable, professional, ladies Sherril, Vicki, Tammy, Jessica, and Mitzie. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication the team devoted to assisting me in find and buying my home. I could not have been more pleased with your performance, they moved fast just liked I ask them to, them help me understand thing I didn’t. They just made the whole process easier than I thought possible. Thanks for Everything I had a wonderful experience working with your company. Sherril Watkins and Ed Blanchard are the owners of The Residential Group.

• Sherril has lived most of her adult life here in Fayetteville and Ed Blanchard was born and raised here.
• Sherril is a self-proclaimed military “brat”, as her father was in the military, so she’s definitely lived the military life.
• Sherril is the Broker-in-Charge and Co-Owner of The Residential Group.  She has had her real estate license for over 20 years.  She has completed numerous Business, Psychology and Marketing courses at Indiana University in South Bend, Indiana.  She maintains her real estate license by taking yearly continuing education courses, as well as the Broker-In-Charge update courses.  She is also currently working towards her GRI (Graduate of the REALTOR Institute) designation.
• Ed Blanchard is also Broker/Co-Owner of The Residential Group. He has been licensed for over 10 years. He attended Pembroke State University, and East Carolina University, majoring in Business.
