10 Easy Steps to Buying a Home
1. You’ll want to read, understand & acknowledge the role of the real estate agent. (The NC Real Commission requires this before an agent gives you information!)
2. Click here to have us as your Buyer's Agent. It's at NO COST to you! (We want to be your realtor for life!)
3. Submit an application for a loan to find out how much you are able to spend on a home. (This is very important to help you decide if you can get a loan and for how much.)
4. Once you find out what you can afford, sign up to receive listings that meet your specified criteria.
5. Request to meet with an agent and start looking at homes that meet your “Dream Home” criteria.
6. Your real estate agent will assist you with writing an Offer.
7. We’ll get to work! ---This is when the magic happens! We'll get to work behind-the-scenes. We’ll order your home inspection, your pest inspection, as well as deal with any other loose ends that need to be dealt with (repairs, financing, etc.) It's rather boring stuff, but our cutting-edge technology allows us to do all of it before you could even begin to worry about it.
8. We’ll wrap up the loose ends! ---When all the "fun stuff" is said and done, we'll get in touch to set your closing date. We'll go over all your paperwork before you actually close to make sure you're happy with everything. If you're not, just tell us. We'll make every effort to address your concerns
9. We’ll close the transaction! --- When you give us the go-ahead, we'll schedule your closing. We’ll let you know when and where, or just let us know how you’d like to go about closing – by fax, by mail or in person!
